Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Fishrr mobile application and related services ("Fishrr", the "App", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Fishrr.

1. The service

Fishrr is an aquarium and fishkeeping tracker. It helps you log water parameters, track your nitrogen cycle, read test photos with AI, identify possible disease or algae, manage tanks, and receive reminders. Fishrr is a tool to assist hobbyists — it is not veterinary advice and does not guarantee the health or survival of any animal. Always use your own judgement and consult a qualified professional for serious concerns.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for the activity under your account and for keeping your login secure. You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction to subscribe. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

3. Plans & features

Fishrr offers a free plan ("Free") with one tank and a paid plan ("Pro"), available as a monthly subscription, an annual subscription, or a one-time "Lifetime" purchase. Current prices are shown in the App and on our website and may change for future purchases; any price change will not affect a subscription term you have already paid for.

4. Billing, cancellation & refunds

• Non-refundable. All amounts you pay — monthly, annual, or the one-time Lifetime purchase — are final and non-refundable, except where a refund is required by applicable law.
• Auto-renewal. Monthly and annual subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price, until you cancel.
• Cancel anytime. You may cancel at any time through the App or the customer portal provided by our payment processor. Cancellation stops the next renewal; we do not charge a cancellation fee.
• Access after cancellation. When you cancel, your Pro/Premium features remain active through the end of the period you have already paid for, and your plan will not renew after that. For example, if you cancel a monthly plan, Premium runs until the end of that month; if you cancel an annual plan, it runs until the end of that year. You are not charged again, and no partial or prorated refund is issued for the unused remainder.
• Lifetime. The Lifetime option is a single one-time purchase that grants Premium access for the lifetime of the product. It is likewise non-refundable.
• Payment processing. Payments and subscription management are handled by our third-party payment provider, acting as our merchant of record. Your use of checkout and the billing portal is also subject to that provider's terms.

5. AI features

Some features use AI to read test photos, suggest a likely disease or algae identification, and answer questions. AI output can be incomplete or wrong. Numeric safety status in Fishrr is determined by a deterministic rules engine, not by AI; AI only assists with reading and identification. You should confirm AI-suggested values before saving them and treat all suggestions as informational only.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use Fishrr for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms;
• attempt to access other users' data, or interfere with, probe, or disrupt the service or its security;
• reverse engineer, scrape, or resell the service except as permitted by law;
• abuse, automate, or attempt to circumvent usage limits, rate limits, or paid-feature gating.

7. Your content

You retain ownership of the data and photos you add to Fishrr. You grant us the limited rights needed to operate the service for you — for example storing your data and processing photos to provide AI features. You are responsible for the content you upload and confirm you have the right to use it.

8. Disclaimers

Fishrr is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any result or recommendation will be accurate or suitable for your animals or equipment.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fishrr and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, livestock, or property arising from your use of the service. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months before the claim.

10. Changes & termination

We may update these Terms or the service from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above and, where appropriate, by notice in the App. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms. We may suspend or terminate access that violates these Terms.
